Vanilla Chai
Does anyone have an easy recipe for a vanilla chai latte?
I went to a coffee place today called Haus der Elegans, and I sampled their vanilla chai latte and fell in love.
Does anyone have an easy recipe for a vanilla chai latte?
Is there anyway you could just use regular, lipton tea bags?
I just made some from a mixture of recipes I looked up, it doesn't taste as good as the one at the coffee shop (probably, mostly because I didn't use chai tea bags/mix), but it's still pretty good. :]
Thanks, guys.
1/2 cup nonfat dry milk
1/4 cup powdered coffee creamer
1/2 cup white or (better) brown sugar
1 tablespoon instant vanilla pudding mix
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom (OPT or use allspice)
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
In a resealable container combine all of the ingredients and stir with a fork or a whisk to distribute everything evenly. Store on the pantry shelf.
******************** TO Prepare with regular tea bags, mix all. Seal in a container.
Combine 2 or 2.5 TB tea mix with 1 C boiling water & stir.
Add in tea bag & seep as normal.
HTH!!!!!
