How to get smoke odor out of dolls?

I am contemplating on buying a Lee Middleton doll off of ebay, but it came from a smoking environment and I have been worned that it does have a strong cigarette odor. How can I get rid of the odor?

i would empty a whole bottle of glade or nething like dat on it n let it sit for a while n then wash
