Self Hypnosis
Can anyone tell me how to begin self- hypnosis?
I am interested in self-hypnosis, mainly for assertiveness and academic performance. Can anyone suggest a book or a tape or anything at all that they have tried and were successful with?
To start with all hypnosis is self hypnosis. Trying to do it by your self is like reading a book on driving a car and running off to be a race driver-in one afternoon.....Have a hypnotist help you for a few tries ,or under worst conditions, get a good hypnosis tape.In over fifty years as a hypnotist I have never hypnotized any one They did it and enjoyed it. All I did was tell them what to do!
One of my favorite tapes is called "Journey to the center of time"by the Erickson Institute. You may have do a little looking for this. This tape is my escape when things are too hectic. This tape uses a multi-voice program so you must have a stereo tape player and ear phones or it will not work.
remember that the people who say something will not work or is dangerous usually ha ve not tried it under proper conditions.
